Biscoe - Jimmie Brazil Johnson went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the age of 81.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Flint Hill Christian Church with the Rev. Don McCaskill officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.

Jimmie was born March 28, 1935 in Mayodan, NC to Pink Reid and Naomi Doss Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Wetoka Johnson Phillips; brother William "Billy" Johnson; and brothers-in-law, Sandy Ewan and Dan Atkins.

Jimmie is survived by his wife of 49 years, Frances Snow Johnson, and children, Eddie Davis (Debby) of Seagrove and Amber Johnson of Seven Lakes; two grandchildren, Matthew Davis (Amber) of Ft. Belvoir, VA and Barbie Davis of Seagrove; three great-grandchildren, Austin Davis, Bryan Davis, and Zoe Davis; two sisters, Theresa Johnson Ewan of Honolulu, HI and Felicia Johnson Farmer (Glenn) of Mayodan; sister-in-law, Carolyn Atkins; many nieces and nephews; and close friends, Jerry and Mildred Wilkes.

Jimmie was a member of Flint Hill Christian Church and an US Air Force veteran. He enjoyed visiting with others, sitting outside, and watching his beloved Tar Heels.

Jimmie was a Christian who loved his family, church and community. He will be missed by all.
