Seagrove - John Casper "J.C." Allen, age 84, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019, at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.
Mr. Allen was born in Montgomery County on December 4, 1934, to John Casper and Leola Lilly Grissom Allen. He was a twenty-year veteran of the US Air Force, where he served during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his sister, Joyce Garner and husband, Roy, of Asheboro; nieces, Janet Lee Williams of Asheboro and Phyllis Hunt of Asheboro; and nephews, Vance Voncannon of Sophia and Chuck Garner of Seagrove.
The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service on Wednesday, July 10, from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.
The graveside service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Memorial Gardens, 3448 New Hope Church Road, Asheboro.
