John Henry Myrick

John H. Myrick Seagrove - John Henry Myrick, age 59, of 6076 Susan Drive, died Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at Randolph Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2008, at Pine Grove Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Bill Reynolds and the Rev. Lowell Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He was a native of Moore County and was a furniture worker. Surviving are his wife, Clarice Corder Myrick, of the home; son, Ellery Myrick of Seagrove; brothers, Herman Myrick of Belmont, Eugene Myrick of Biscoe, Richard Myrick of Star; sisters, Shirley Sheffield of Biscoe, Bonnie Brown of Eagle Springs, Dora Safrit of Mt. Gilead; two grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home in Star and other times at the home. The family is being served by Phillips Funeral Home in Star.
