Johnnie Simmons

Johnnie Simmons, 81, of Eagle Springs, passed away on December 1, 2023, at his home.

Johnnie was born on November 18, 1942, in Stanly County to Armedia Simmons. He dedicated many years of his life to a career at Perdue before retiring. In his leisure time, he enjoyed putting puzzles together, reading, and caring for his beloved cats.

In addition to his parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by his son Johnny Williamson.

He is survived by his wife Betty Williams Simmons of the home; daughters Pamela Seawell of Vass; Rhonda Britt of Eagle Springs and Daliliah Marion (Billy) of Robbins; and son Donnie Williamson (Melinda) of Asheboro. He leaves behind ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren to cherish his memory.

Private services will be held to honor Johnnie's life.
