Biscoe - Johnny Reid Greene, age 71, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, at FirstHealth Hospice House.
Mr. Greene was born in Montgomery County on December 31, 1946, to Dewey and Mildred Davis Greene. He was retired from Joyce's Frame Shop and was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Greene Greene, of the home; step-daughter, Amanda Latham and husband, Jeff, of Star; step-son, Mitchell Britt of Star; sister, Judy Powers of Biscoe; two grandchildren, Matthew Britt and Jamie Britt; dear friends, Mark and Beteena Shank, of Star; and his pet dog, Snuggles.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 24, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Temple in Biscoe.
A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at STAR CHURCH IPHC Cemetery, 105 McBride Lumber Road, Star with the Rev. Terry Kivett officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
