Johnny Clark York

Eagle Springs - Johnny Clark York, 79, of 7483 NC Hwy 705, died Monday, April 18, 2011, at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Unity Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Warren officiating. Interment will follow with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard in the Tabernacle UMC Cemetery in Robbins. Mr. York was born in Moore County to John Clark and Pearlie Lee Maness York. He was a US Army veteran and was employed for 36 years with Carthage Fabrics. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathy York Alexander. He is survivied by his wife, Crissie Rouse York, of the home; sons, Tony York and wife, Debbie, of Seagrove; Mark York and wife, Renee, of Robbins; Chris York and wife, Liane, of West End; sister, Mary Dora Smith, of Carthage; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
