Seagrove - Juanita Faye Davis Comer, 88, of 3988 Brower Mill Road, died Monday, April 22, 2013, at Universal Healthcare-Ramseur. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Needham's Grove Independent Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member, with the Rev. James E. Cockram and Rev. Arnold Comer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Comer was born in Montgomery County to Asa Lewis and Lona Francena Dunn Davis. She was a beautician and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie H. "Bill" Comer. She is survived by her daughter, Grace Ellen Beane and husband, Jerry, of Seagrove; son, Paul H. Comer and Sandy, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Brian Beane, Todd Beane, David Voncannon; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ernest Davis of Asheboro, Jerry Davis of Star. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home of Jerry and Grace Beane, 1252 Chriscoe Road West, Seagrove. Memorials may be made to Needham's Grove Independent Baptist Church Building Fund, 359 Needham's Grove Road, Seagrove, NC 27341.
