Julia McNeill Shore

Julia Frances McNeill Shore, age 87, of Denton, passed away on April 1, 2026, at Hospice of Randolph.

Julia was born on May 12, 1938, in Montgomery County to Alvin and Winnie Freeman McNeill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Shore Sr. and son Willam Shore Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Julie Burgess (Paul) of Asheboro, Vivian Varner (Richard) of Denton, grandchildren Steven Shore (Amelia), Katherine Burgess, and Valerie Sharma (Viv). As well as great grandchildren Kailey, Trevor, Sawyer, Eli, Isabella, and great great grandchild Mason Shore.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Leach Cemetery at 11:00 am.
