Biscoe - Julian Gomez Mazaba, 33, of 138 Odessa Drive, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011, in Drake, North Dakota. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 26, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery. He was a native of Mexico and was a carpenter. Surviving are his wife, Stephanie Haywood Gomez, of the home; sons, Lonnie C. Haywood, of the home; Julio Gomez, of the home; daughter, Daisy Gomez, of the home; step-daughter, Janna Garner, of Candor; step-son, Joshua Henne, of Albemarle; father, Felipe Gomez, of Vera Cruz, Mexico; mother, Isidra Marcial, of Vera Cruz, Mexico; brothers, Jaime Gomez, of Rockingham; Hector Gomez, of Vera Cruz, Mexico; sisters, Edith Gomez, of Red Springs; Maribel Gomez, of Vera Cruz, Mexico; 3 grandchildren. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Monday, December 26, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
