Karen Lucas East

Star - Karen Sue Lucas East, 50, of 202 Sunlight Run Drive, died Monday, March 14, 2011, at High Point Regional Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Ray Chriscoe officiating. She was born in Randolph County to Ray Garland and Geraline Callicutt Lucas. She was a former textile knitter. She is survived by her husband, Gregory Neal East, of the home; sons, Jason Ira Davis of Troy, Gregory Neal East, Jr. of the home, Craig East of the home; sisters, Lori Lucas Smith of Star, Pam Lucas Rudd of Southport; two grandchildren, Ethan James Davis and Kaelyn Brook Davis. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Flint Hill Church of God, 1191 Flint Hill Road, Troy, NC 27371.
