Kathleen Jane Greene

Star - Kathleen Jane Greene, 82, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM, Friday, May 6, 2016, at Leach Cemetery with the Rev. Darrell Greene and Rev. Terry Kivett officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM, Friday, May 6, 2016, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.

Ms. Greene was born in Montgomery County to James Franklin and Ila Mae Dunn Green. She was a member of Calvary Temple, a retired CNA, and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post # 9881 in Biscoe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Davis, Bill Greene, Robert Greene, and Christine Sheffield.

She is survived by her son, J. Steve Flynn, of High Point; sister, Dianne Greene of Biscoe; grandsons, Mark Flynn of High Point and Josh Flynn of Atlanta, GA; great-granddaughter, Isabella Flynn of High Point
