Seagrove - Larry Glenn Cagle, 76, of 2986 US 220 Alt N, died Thursday, October 11, 2012, at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 14, 2012, at Dover Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Dr. Don Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He was born in Montgomery County to Charles and Lillie Barnes Cagle and was a truck driver. Surviving are his wife, Jewelene Stutts Cagle, of the home; son, Larry Cagle, Jr., and wife, Stephanie, of Seagrove; daughters, Elizabeth Ann McCaskill and husband, Joe, of Candor, Kimberly Sue Schmidt and husband, Steve, of Damascus, MD; two grandchildren, Monica and Jared McCaskill. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 514 Daniels Street #109, Raleigh, NC 27605.
