Leonard Eugene Davis

Mr. Leonard Eugene Davis, 83, of 1899 Jason Road, Star, died Saturday, October 29, 2011 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 1, at Dover Baptist Church with Dr. Don Davis and Rev. Clay Davis officiating. Interment will be in Dover Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Davis was born in Moore County to Carlie Lee and Hannah Dunn Davis. He was retired from Springs Industries Aileen Plant. Mr. Davis was a member of Dover Baptist Church, a faithfull husband and caregiver to his wife, and enjoyed music. Surviving are his wife, Faye Davis, of the home Two Sons: Larry Davis and wife, Judy, Star, NC Jeff Davis and wife, Jerri, Star, NC Three Brothers: David Davis, Seagrove, NC Bernie Davis and wife, Loraine, Seagrove, NC Lewis Davis, Asheboro, NC Four Grandchildren: Gloria Davis of Asheboro, NC Alisa Perryman and husband, Neil, of Star, NC Keith Davis and wife, Julia, of Star Garrett Davis and wife, Michelle, of Troy, NC Five Great-grandchildren: Larry and Stephanie Perryman Marshall, Emma, and Cohen Davis The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 1, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
