Linda Saunders Maness

Linda Mae Saunders Maness, age 68, passed away on January 24, 2024, at her home.

Linda was born on March 10, 1955, in Montgomery County to Lemley Hayes and Channie Cagle Saunders.  Linda enjoyed cooking and spending time with her husband and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sisters, Nancy Cagle and Doris Williams.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jerry Maness of the home; son, Todd Smith (Pam) of Star; sisters, Ruby Epps of Star; Mary Harris (Barry) of Candor; and Judy Saunders. Grandchildren, Haley Williamson, Hannah Smith, Heather Smith and great grandchild Emma Davis.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Phillips Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Center Cross Baptist Church at 1789 Center Cross Church Road, Asheboro, NC 27205, designated for the playground fund.
