Star - Louise Cameron Freeman, 82, of Jason Road, died Monday, March 28, 2016, at FirstHealth Hospice House

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Star United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kay Boone officiating. Interment will be in Dover Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the church.

Mrs. Freeman was a native of Moore County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett P. Freeman; parents, James Clyde and Annie Lee Brewer Cameron; sister, Doris Comer; and brother, Dr. James Cameron.

She was retired as the owner/operator of Freeman's General Store and a member of Dover Baptist Church in Seagrove.

Surviving are daughters, Sylvia Baumberger and husband, Tom of Star, Cynthia Dabestani and husband, Ahmad of Charlotte; granddaughters, Alysia Preslar and husband, Brannon of Bennett, Kristy Cleaveland and husband, Chris of West End; grandsons, Justin Dabestani and wife, Stacey of Charlotte, Jonathan Dabestani and Nicole of Charlotte; and six great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Davita of Pinehurst, FirstHealth, and FirstHealth Hospice House for the compassion and care that they have offered during her illness.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation of NC, 4701 Hedgemore Drive, Suite 810, Charlotte, NC 28209.
