Marion Irene Williamson

Marion Irene Batten Williamson, age 95, of Biscoe, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, at her home.

She is the daughter of the late Carl Winford and Wilie Entis Spikes Batten.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Atlas Williamson, son James Arnold Williamson, sisters Elizabeth Batten, Helen Batten, Eleanor Brewster and brothers Winford Batten, Eugene "Nood" Batten, and W.L. "Doc" Batten.

She is survived by her daughters, Audrey McDowell of Raeford and Barbara Hayes of Seagrove, daughter in-law Carlene Williamson of Biscoe, brother Carl R. Batten of Springfield, TN, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and her dog Snoopy.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Phillips Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Biscoe Cemetery at 3:00 pm with Rev. Tommy Upchurch and Rev. Carl Batten officiating.
