Mary Lou Anderson

Mary Lou Finch Anderson, 84, of Biscoe, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on December 18, 2025.

Born on November 19, 1941, in Chesterfield, South Carolina, Mary was the daughter of Floyd and Lawton Elizabeth Skipper Finch. She devoted many years of her life to her career as a journalist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold "Gene" Anderson and daughter Brandy Odom.

She is survived by her sons, Lewis Perkins (Dragana) of Sunrise, FL and Donald Perkins (Teri) of Wadesboro, NC. Grandchildren: Amanda Shea; Kate McClain; Ruby Perkins; J and Oliver Perkins. As well as great grandchildren Danny, Gabe, Emily, Zack, Alex, Alec, llene, Angela, Jackie, Laura, Alice, and Gio.

Services for Mary are pending at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the MCC Foundation Gene Anderson Gunsmithing Endowed Scholarship Fund at 1011 Page St., Troy, NC 27371.
