Biscoe - Maudie Jane Davis, 79, died Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Autumn Care of Biscoe.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Junior Davis officiating. Interment will be in Freeman Family Cemetery.
Ms. Davis was born in Montgomery County to John Dossie and Mary Margaret Moore Davis. She was a retired knitter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, James Mitchell Davis, Jr., Billy Eugene Davis, and Roger Lee Davis; brothers, James Ray, Junior, J. C., and Randy Joe Davis; sisters, Angelee Pinkerton, Sue Myrick, and Maxine Smith.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Sue Yates, of Trinity; sisters, Betty Williams and Virginia Brower, both of Star; brother, Ronnie Lee Davis, of Carthage; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
