Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, July 1, at Stanly Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating. Ms. Thompson was a native of New Hanover County born to Walter and Patricia Ivey. Surviving are Three Sons: Keith Housley, Mt. Gilead, NC Brandon Housley, Troy, NC Christopher Williamson, Biscoe, NC Two Daughters: Crystal Housley, Norwood, NC Lorrie Brady, Star, NC Sister: Sharon Parker, Biscoe, NC Brother: Gene Beck, Jr., Wilmington, NC 12 grandchildren The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Sunday, June 30, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
