Merial Williams Russell

Merial Williams Russell, 83, of Star, NC passed away Friday, May 14, at her home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 18, at 1:00 pm at the Star United Methodist Church cemetery conducted by the Rev. David Foushee. A native of Star, Mrs. Russell was a long-time member of Star United Methodist Church. She held several offices in Chapter 111 of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband, H. R. (Bobby) Russell of the home; three daughters, Karen Hunsucker and husband, Jerry, of Carolina Shores, NC, Pam Brewer and husband, Keith, of Norwood, NC, Lou Starnes and husband, Dennis, of Concord, NC; one brother, Lacy Williams, Jr., of Fayetteville, NC; five grandsons, Jeremy Hunsucker of Asheboro, NC, Adam Brewer of Charlotte, NC, Russell Brewer of Nashville, TN, Ethan Brewer of Norwood, NC, Lathan Starnes of Concord, NC; one granddaughter, Leah Starnes of Concord.
