Faye M. Bruce Star - Mildred Faye Miller Bruce, age 66, died Thursday, January 15, 2009, at Brookstone Haven of Star. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009, at Dover Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Dr. Don Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She was a native of Montgomery County and was a former employee of Clayson Knitting Co. Inc. Surviving are her son, Danny Bruce, of Seagrove; mother, Thelma Davis Mabe, of Seagrove; step-brothers, Gary Mabe of Seagrove, Steve Mabe of Raleigh; three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home in Star and other times at the mother's home, 741 Hogan Farm Road, Seagrove, NC.
