Myrtie Lee Kennedy Garner

Myrtie Lee Kennedy Garner, 94, of Seagrove, died Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Autumn Care of Biscoe.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Union Grove Baptist Church where she was a member, with the Rev. Dr. Ron Chaney officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Interment will be in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Garner was born in Moore County to the late Johnnie and Ollie Jordan Kennedy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, son Ronald, grandson Jesse Hare and five sisters, Macie, Gracie, Edith, Annie and Aileen.

Surviving are two sons Jerry Garner (Linda) and Larry Garner (Judy) both of Seagrove; two daughters, Brenda Maness of Seagrove and Vickie Britt (Jim) of Hickory; a sister Barbara Davis of Seagrove; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
