Troy - Myrtie Brown Williams, 101, of 924 Lindsey Drive, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 30, 2012, at Dover Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Don Davis officiating. She was born in Moore County to Ellis and Minnie Alice Morgan Brown. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her son, Bobby Williams, of Star, daughters, Frances Williams, of Troy, Lynda Jordan, of Tallahassee, FL;7 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren. No visitation is planned.
