Nancy McCallum Parsons, 63, of 194 New Hope Church Rd., Star, died Saturday, April 07, 2012 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 11, at the Old New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Gene Davis officiating. Mrs. Parsons was born in Montgomery County to Edward and Minnie McCallum and was a homemaker. Surviving are her Husband, James "Bud" Parsons, of the home One Son: Fred Parsons and wife, Jennifer, Star, NC Two Daughters: Tabitha Parsons Salazar and husband, Jose Fausto, Biscoe, NC Tanya Parsons, NY One Brother: Edward McCallum, Jr., GA Three Sisters: Larue Brewer, Seagrove, NC Patricia Livingston, Chapel Hill, NC Renee McCallum, Randleman, NC 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
