Nellie Shoafe Cox

Star - Nellie Shoafe Cox, age 82, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020, at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Mrs. Cox was born in Montgomery County on October 20, 1937 to Henry and Hassie Beane Shofe. She was a retired textile seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Cox, and daughter, Wanda "Gail" Thompson. She is survived by one son, Russell Thompson, of the home.
