Onnie Mae Brewer Hinson Britt

Biscoe - Onnie Mae Brewer Hinson Britt, 98, died Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at Brian Center of Mooresville. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Browns Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Michael Parenti and Rev. James Brewer officiating. Interment will be in Dover Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Britt was born on August 19, 1913, in the Sheffield Township of Moore County to Isaac Brewer and Eunice Vandalia Kennedy Brewer. She was predeceased by her first husband, Pines Hinson, and her second husband, Wilbert Britt; son, Edward Lee Hinson; daughter-in-law, Bobbie Sue Riddle Hinson; five sisters and one brother. She is survived by her son, Bobby Dean Hinson (Ellen) of Mooresville; three granddaughters, Denise Miller (Robbie) of Charlotte, Beth Sheek (Darby) of Troutman, Deana Hinson of Blacksburg, VA; five great-grandchildren, Joshua Wyatt of Troutman; Brittany Miller of Charlotte; Mary Emma Betz, Elijah Betz, Addie Betz, all of Blacksburg, VA; three step-children, Dan Britt, Lee Britt and Aileen Garner and their children; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, August 26, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
