Otta Hare Hussey

Otta Hare Hussey, 85, of Seagrove, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 7, at Dover Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Bouldin and Rev. Tommy Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hussey was born in Moore County to Numa and Nancy Davis Hare. She was a member of Dover Baptist Church and worked at Westmoore Elementary School for twenty-three years.

Surviving are her sons, Larry Gene Hussey (Tina) of Robbins, Randy Mark Hussey of Seagrove; brother, Cloves Hare of Asheboro; sister, Grace Yow of Sophia; grandchildren, Amber Hussey of Robbins, Ashley Saunders of Seagrove, Josh Hussey of Robbins, Adam Hussey of Troy, Laura Rose of Troy, Jeremy Hussey of Stanley; one great-grandchild, Bella Rose, and pet dog, Zoey.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 6, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
