Paul Edward Phillips Jr., age 88, of Star, passed away at FirstHealth Hospice House.

Mr. Phillips was born on January 16, 1937, in Montgomery County to Paul and Myrtle Robbins Phillips Sr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Phillips and sisters Isabella Phillips and Phyllis Strider.

He is survived by his nieces Renee Varner of Asheboro and Elaine McPherson of Asheboro.
