Phillip D. Bowman Robbins - Phillip Davie Bowman, age 49, of 164 Bowman Lane, died Sunday, February 22, 2009, at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy. Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Norman Cemetery with Elder B.J. Chriscoe and Gilbert Chriscoe officiating. He was a native of Randolph County and was a furniture upholsterer. Surviving are his son, Travis Edward Bowman, of Robbins; mother, Martha Pate, of Robbins; brothers, Jackie Bowman of Robbins, George Wayne Bowman of Candor; sister, Brenda Farris of Robbins. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home in Star. The family is being served by Phillips Funeral Home in Star.
