Raymond Eli Davis
Raymond Eli Davis, age 89, of Star, passed away on September 24, 2026, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Mr. Davis was born on January 18, 1937, in Montgomery County to William and Gladys Freeman Davis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son William Bradley Davis and brother Darrell Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Russell Davis of the home, son Rusty Davis of Star and daughter Jennifer Fountain (Randy) of Star, sisters Rebecca Davis of Durham, Dorothy Sanders of Biscoe and brother Donald Davis (Sam) of Star.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Star United Methodist Church with Rev. Haley Capps officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00-2:45 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
