Candor - Rebecca Sue Fuson, 51, of 335 West Railroad Street, died Thursday, June 13, 2013, at FirstHealth Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM, Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jamie Hinson officiating. She was born in Forsyth County to Earl Lee Chavis and Patrica Lockemy Martin. She was a waitress and was preceded in death by her father. Surviving are her husband, Charles Fuson, Sr., of the home; daughters, Tabitha Fuson, of Candor, Melaine Hlili, of Franklinville; son, Charles Dean Fuson, Jr., of Candor; mother, Patrica Lockemy Martin and step-father, Benard Martin, Sr., of Franklinville; brother, Benard Martin, Jr., of Lexington; sisters, Angie Chavis of Denton, Blinda Williams of Climax, Dana Odom of Rockingham, Crystal Williams of Rockingham, Amber Chavis of Rockingham; four grandchildren. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
