Rebecca Gibbs

Rebecca Wylene Bagley Gibbs, age 78, of Mt. Gilead, passed away on December 25, 2023.

She was born on August 25, 1945 in Mecklenburg County, the daughter of John and Mattie Bagley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gibbs; daughter, Sherry Ann Smith; brothers, Harvey Bagley, and Walt Bagley; sisters, Marilyn Wilder, Joanne Bagley and Rhea Coley.

She is survived by her daughter, BJ Callicutt of Mt. Gilead; her sisters, Rita Majetich (John) of Granite Quarry and Cathy Needham (Bobby) of Floral City, FL;  and her brother, Robert "Bob" Bagley (Linda) of Mint Hill; as well as her grandchildren, Joseph Marshall and Harper Callicutt.

The family will be hosting a visitation on Wednesday, December 27th from 5:00-7:00 pm at the home of BJ Callicutt located at 406 Roxboro Drive, Mt. Gilead.

Services to celebrate Rebecca's life will be scheduled at a later date.
