Rex Baxter Cagle

Rex Baxter Cagle, 60, of Star, died Friday, February 24, 2017, at his residence.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm, Monday, February 27, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andrew Hurlburt officiating. Interment will be in Big Oak Church of God Cemetery.

Mr. Cagle was born in Randolph County to Roy Baxter and Kathleen Beane Cagle. He worked in the furniture industry. Mr. Cagle was predeceased by his father and his son, Rex Charles Cagle.

Surviving are his mother, Kathleen Beane Carter of Star; sister, Patricia Stone of Seagrove; and, brothers, Billy R. Cagle (Vicki) of Robbins, James Michael "Mikey" Carter (Linda) of Star,

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, February 26, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
