Richard Calvin Martin

Richard Calvin Martin, 65, of Biscoe died Saturday, November 19, 2016, at FirstHealth Hospice House, Pinehurst, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 23, at Macedonia Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Candor, NC with the Rev. Dr. Bruce Lax officiating.

Mr. Martin was born September 7, 1951, the son of Coy and Maggie Martin of Biscoe. He worked in numerous jobs in the Biscoe area. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his fun-loving personality. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Fred Martin; sisters, Judy Kissell (Rick), Kay McCallum, Debbie Robertson; and, numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm Wednesday, November 23, at Phillips Funeral Home.
