Robert "Bobby" Jones

Robert Stephen "Bobby" Jones, age 57, of Seagrove, passed away on July 12, 2026, due to an accident at his home.

Bobby was born in Montgomery County on October 19, 1968, to James Robert Jones and Barbara Steed Jones. He worked in the racing industry for more than 24 years. Bobby enjoyed camping, riding his Harleys, traveling and restoring old cars.

He is survived by his wife Melissa "Lisa" McDaniel Jones of the home; father James Robert Jones of Cheraw, SC; sister Ashley Jones and brother Shane Jones both of Cheraw, SC., sister in-law Debbie Wallace (Perry) of Star and nephew Pierce Wallace also of Star. As well as his beloved pets Jackson and Daisy.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to The Humane Society of the Uwharries PO Box 231, Troy, NC 27371.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 3:00 pm at White Oak Meeting House, 2190 US Hwy 220 Alt. N, Star, NC 27356.
