Robert Clausen Perkins

Bessemer City - Robert Clausen Perkins, 68, of 1244 Harbin Court, died Sunday, December 8, 2013. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Perkins was born in Richmond County to Fred Perkins, Sr., and Oliver Odessa Jackson Perkins. He was a member of Dallas Church of God and was a retired construction plumber. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter and Ervin Perkins. He is survived by his caregiver and friend, Susan Benton; sons, Wayne Perkins of Biscoe, Kenneth Perkins of Biscoe, Shane Perkins of Candor; sister, Rosa Chavis of Raeford; brothers, Paul Perkins of Asheboro, Fred Perkins, Jr. of Ashland, Alabama; 2 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
