Robert Delano Walker

Biscoe - Robert Delano Walker, Sr., 80, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, at his residence.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 31, 2017, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Grady Blakely officiating. Interment will be in Biscoe Cemetery with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Martha Sue Robinson Walker, and his brothers and sisters.

Mr. Walker was born in Halifax County to James Andrew and Margaret Jones Walker. He was retired from NC Department of Corrections, served in the US Army, played golf, softball, and enjoyed racing. He was a member of the Good Olde Boys in Biscoe.

He is survived by his son, Robert D. "Del" Walker, Jr., of the home.
