Ronald Dean Davis

Star - Ronald Dean Davis, 50, of 103 Telegraph Lane, died Saturday, January 14, 2012, at UNC Hospitals. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Ether UMC with the Rev. Kay Boone officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Davis was born in Montgomery County to William Arthur and Gladys Freeman Davis. He was employed by McBride Lumber Company. Surviving are his brothers, Raymond Davis and wife, Jenny, of Star, Darrell Davis of Star, Donald Davis of Star; sisters, Rebecca Davis of Biscoe, Dorothy Sanders and husband, Carlie, of Biscoe; nieces and nephews. No visitation is planned.
