Troy - Roy Rockwell Reynolds, Jr., 82, of 625 Eldorado Street , died Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at his residence. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Southside Cemetery in Troy with the Rev. Dave Wensil officiating. Mr. Reynolds was born in Montgomery County to Roy Rockwell Reynolds, Sr. and Esther Ann Helms Reynolds. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Star and was retired from NC Department of Corrections. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Esther Lois Reynolds, son, David Rockwell Reynolds, sister, Lamona Fountain, and brother, Jerry Don Reynolds. He is survived by his wife, Beth Norris Reynolds, of the home; daughters, Gloria Stone (Gene) of Millers Creek, Sherri Sanders (Richard) of Troy; sons, Danny Ray Reynolds (Joy) of Star, Michael Roy Reynolds (Teresa) of Candor, Larry Robert Reynolds (Tammie) of Candor, Mark Roland Reynolds (Lynn) of Biscoe; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. No visitation is planned. The family will be at the home of Richard and Sherri Sanders, 216 Poole Road in Troy.
