Ruby Nell Greene Beane

Seagrove - Ruby Nell Greene Beane, age 92, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro.

Mrs. Beane was born in Randolph County on January 31, 1927, to William V. and Rosa Mae Kennedy Greene. She was a homemaker and a member of Big Oak Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy I. Beane, and daughters, Virginia Burns and Rachel Beane.

She is survived by her daughters, Ella Mae Smith (Jerry) of Seagrove, Nancy Kern (Mickey) of Asheboro, Martha Ward (Eugene) of Star, Susie Hudson (Wendell) of Asheboro, and Joyce McClain (Larry) of Asheboro, and son, Ray Beane (Crystal) of Star; sisters, Lillian Cecil, Thelma McNeill, and Betty Garren, all of Asheboro; brother, James Greene, of Asheboro; 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 29, 2019 from 3:00 - 3:45 p.m. at Big Oak Church of God in Star.

The funeral service will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. Billy Chriscoe officiating. Interment will follow in Beane Family Cemetery in Star.
