Sandra Leach Blue

Sandra Leach Blue, age 79, of Biscoe, passed away on March 24, 2024, at FirstHealth Hospice House.

She was born on January 1, 1945, in Montgomery County to Arthur and Frances Leach. Sandra dedicated herself to the art of beauty as a beautician, and she also gracefully served as a waitress before retirement. Alongside her professional pursuits, Sandra cherished her time by the water, reveling in all things related to the beach. Her leisure hours were often filled with fishing adventures and joyful moments shared with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ted Blue, son Shane Blue, grandson Dylan Blue, and sister Madge Coleman.

Sandra is survived by her son Scott Blue of Biscoe, grandson Austin Blue of Biscoe, sisters Rita Crowley of Aberdeen and Bonnie McLeod of Star, and brother Ronnie Leach (Janet) of Biscoe. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Phillips Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm.

 A funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Macedonia Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. David Speering officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made in Sandra's memory to Macedonia Presbyterian Church at PO Box 340 in Candor, NC 27229.
