Sarah Shepard Howell

Sarah Louise Shepard Howell, 73, of Candor, passed away on October 18, 2023, at her home.

Sarah was born in Montgomery County on August 21, 1950, to Montgomery and Rosa Johnson Shepard. She worked for Candor Hosiery Mill for many years. Sarah had a love for flowers and for her beloved cats.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sherri Howell.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Danny Howell of the home; daughter Rena Howell of Candor; brothers Hal Shepard, David Shepard; sister Nancy Marie Locklear; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
