Shelby Issac Nichols

Shelby I. Nichols Star - Shelby Issac Nichols, age 80, of 425 Shelby Drive, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at his residence. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Nichols Family Cemetery with J. Roger Nichols. He was a native of Montgomery County and was retired from the City of Asheboro where he was a supervisor/foreman in the Maintenance Department. Surviving are his sister, Minnie Nichols, of the home; brothers, Hayes Nichols and Tony Nichols, both of Star. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12-1:30 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home in Star. The family is being served by Phillips Funeral Home in Star.
