Teresa Davis Maynard

Teresa Davis Maynard, 58, of Star, died Saturday, October 8, 2016, at her residence.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 12, at Ether United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kay Boone and Rev. Jeff Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in Maynard Family Cemetery, 1489 Cagle Rd., Seagrove, NC.

Mrs. Maynard was a native of Montgomery County. She had been the secretary for Maynard Frame Shop and currently worked in poultry production. She was predeceased by her father, Reece, and her son, Chad.

Surviving are her husband, Johnny Maynard of the home; sons, Garrett Maynard (Chastity) of Star, Josh Maynard (Jody) of Biscoe, Matthew Maynard of Ether; mother, Betty Coggin Johnson of Biscoe; brothers, Jeff Davis of Biscoe, Bob Davis of Biscoe; sister, Julie Daniel of Biscoe; grandchildren, Mason, Cole, Dylan Destinee, Julianna, Eli, and Isaiah.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 11, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
