Tommy Rex Maness, age 68, of Robbins, passed away on February 6, 2026, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Born on June 10, 1957, in Moore County to Ray and Pearl Allen Maness, Tommy dedicated several years to his career as a clerk at the US Postal Service until his retirement. He enjoyed playing sports, particularly golf and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Arnold Key and sister Betty Sanders.
He is survived by his brothers Elvin Maness of Asheboro and Danny Maness of Ahoskie. Niece Patricia, great nieces Laurie, Autumn, Raylee and great great niece Rowan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Phillips Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Brown's Chapel Christian Church at 11:00 am with Rev. Billy Reynolds and Rev. James Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Tommy's memory to Brown's Chapel Christian Church at 608 Browns Chapel Road, Robbins, NC 27325.
