Mrs. Verlene Maness Hamilton, 81, of 401 Lambert Road, Biscoe, died Saturday, February 9, 2013. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 12, at Bible Pentecostal Holiness Church, Brown's Chapel Church Road, Robbins, with the Rev. James Haywood and Robert Scott officiating. Interment will be in Freeman Family Cemetery, Dog Patch Lane, Star. Mrs. Hamilton was born on June 2, 1931 in Moore County to Norman Martin and Ethel Garner Maness. Surviving are Two Sons: Willis Harris Freeman, Troy, NC Winford Hardin Freeman, Robbins, NC One Daughter: Bonnie Lou Willard, Robbins, NC Three Sisters: Mae Maness, Candor, NC Adine Maness, Candor, NC Marie Robinson, Lenior, NC 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday, February 11, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
