Robbins - Viola Elizabeth Hogan Cecil, 97, of 1369 Brown's Mill Road, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert McLeod officiating. Interment will be in Forks of Little River Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Cecil was born in Richmond County to Roy Lee Hogan and Nancy Jane Hurley Hogan Maness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Dewey Cecil. She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Pierce, of the home; brothers, Carl Junior Maness and Albert Maness, both of Biscoe; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
