Virginia Dare Caudill Owens

Raleigh - Virginia Dare Caudill Owens, age 85, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at her home.
Virginia was born in Montgomery County on January 1, 1932 to Robert Lee and Annie Mae (Shuping) Caudill, Sr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Tyrell, Woodrow, Poe, Ray, R.L., S.G., Baines, Vance, and Mitchell Caudill.
She was a bridal gown seamstress all her life and had worked at the Angus Barn.
She is survived by two sons, Lee Owens and Lex Owens, both of Raleigh; one sister, Annie Mae Kern, of Asheboro; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 27, at Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 1971 Ether Road, Star with the Rev. Kay Boone officiating.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the fellowship hall of Ether United Methodist Church.
