Vivian Anne Gardner Davis, age 73, of Biscoe, passed away peacefully at her home on April 3, 2026.
Born on February 21, 1953, in Montgomery County to William Morton and Annie Gardner, Vivian dedicated many years of her life working in the textile mill until her retirement. She was a devoted member of New Birth Church of the Living God, where she served as the First Lady. Vivian also loved caring for children, cooking, and going to yard sales.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Shirley "Beth" Davis.
She is survived by her husband Junior Davis of the home; daughters, Melinda Duncan of Tabor City, Jessica Sedberry of Candor and Dawn Harris of Troy; sons, William Davis of Candor and Aaron Davis of Robbins. Sisters Renitta Brown of Asheboro, Viva Halcom of Durham and Cathy Callahan of Seagrove. As well as twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Phillips Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at New Birth Church of the Living God at 2:00 pm with Rev. Richard Lynthacum officiating. Burial will follow at Dover Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Vivian's memory to New Birth Church of the Living God.
