Wade Hall

Wade Clay Hall, age 66, of Star, was called home to be with Jesus on September 10, 2026, surrounded by family at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro, NC.

Wade was born on October 31, 1959, in Moore County to Jack and Bertha Talbert Hall. Wade worked as a supervisor for Russell Hosiery Mill, Fruit of the Loom and Renfro for many years and then worked as a personal assistant for JF Allen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Mary Lou Hall, Debbie Sparks and Linda Harris and brother Eddie Talbert.

He is survived by his sisters Shirley Gallimore (David), Wanda Hall, Margaret Lucas (Andy); brothers David Talbert, Johnny Talbert (Jenny), Ricky Hall (Sonya), and Sammy Hall.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Phillips Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Dover Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gene Davis and William Willard officiating.

The family would like to thank the personal care team that was with Wade during the last months of his life, Todd ol' boy, Baby girl (Nabecca), and brother Sam.
